Safety, Grins and Readers
To my enormous surprise I've found that I have one or two readers. The last entry seems to have given someone cause for merriment (the incident certainly made me smile).
Here are a few points in response to the mail that I've received:
Right this moment I'm waiting to go into a meeting. Which brings me to the mail I received from another Blogger. He also uses his Blog as a diary where he describes what happens to him day to day. You can see his blog here:

What do we have in common? Not very much at first sight, but reading someone elses diary makes me realise that human beings on opposite sides of the world have so much in common. A great deal of what we do is routine. If we get pleasure from some of it, then so much the better. However, the routine is punctuated by bright and dark spots (like my motorbike starting).
Let's hope we all have more bright spots than dark spots!
Here are a few points in response to the mail that I've received:
- Question: Isn't starting a motorcycle engine in a garage with
a closed door a bad idea (etc)?
Answer:Yup! It was a bad idea! I wasn't expecting the engine to start and the English winter is reasonably cold. I try to learn from my mistakes (if I survive them :-) ) - Question:How long did it take to get the grin off your face?
Answer:Some while. I was still in a cheerful mood when I finally left my local pub at midnight - Question:Why did you stop there?
AnswerI decided to "quit while I was ahead". Also, the next step in my plan is to service the wiring loom (which is why I decided to "hot-wire"). It's not in a good state, I need to make some tools for the job and I'm not look forward to the task.
